The concept model is distinguished by dpt "clear cutaway" roof panel that brings a variety of open feel to the interior (the word 'water') to a car exhilarating experience. Other features include second-generation lithium-ion battery module with improved electrodes, while the body using the new weight-reducing technology.

I-MiEV in the Water Sports i-MiEV need of back-midship platform and vehicle in a teardrop-shaped body which dramatically tapers towards the rear in a design that provides exceptional performance Aerodynamic. Styling is also a craft that sporty image by seamlessly integrating the region with extensive glassy body. Design features include front and rear light units neatly styled to display 3-dimensional, and the "clear cutaway" roof panel, which is designed to provide experience exhilarating car. Also has a solar panel inlay using Printed Circuit Board design.Inside in graphics, there are welcoming atmosphere with organic shapes and lighting to create a comfortable and calm during the two-room cabin. Sampul in cockpit design, on the other hand, is a style reminds drivers that a high performance potential of the car when he was sitting behind the wheel. Cars also exploits wheelbase that long to find a large capacity lithium-ion batteries under the floor deck system. Center of gravity low and to improve driving stability, EV main system components (modules of the battery, inverter, battery power) is as low as possible. Roof panel is made of lightweight plastic and appropriate to facilitate the transfer of and to lower the car's center of gravity.

The modular structure of the body using the tailgate panel, and plastic to reduce weight around the rear axle where the EV powertrain components and systems that are installed, reaches the ideal 50:50 front / rear weight distribution.
