Hot Rod , Muscle Car , Overhaulin'

What is the Hot Rod anyway?, I'm browsing through internet to get some answer, here what I found :

A production car that has been modified by the owner in the attempt to increase acceleration and top end speed. Although the term can be applied to any modified car, it is usually reserved for vehicles produced from 1930 to 1940's. Typically the engine is modified, and some body panels removed. Many were painted with a design of flames behind the front wheels to give the appearance that this vehicle was "hot" thus the name.

Hmmm, not sure about the 1930 to 1940’s vehicle(???) , how about car from 1950 to 1960’s this group of car can’t be classified as Hot Rod???....ok let it be…

After this I want to write about “Muscle Car” ….

Back to the hot rod story …. I’m watching on the cable TV one of the hit series Overhaulin' on TLC, in which auto designing legend Chip Foose and his crack team of fabricators and engineers turn clunkers into classics. In other words a make over of the car. It’s totally awesome and hope one day my car will be Overhaulin’

Here is some of the car that rebuild@build by the chief designer Chip Foose
