Ford Focus 2008 .


FORD has announced a new Focus featuring a major exterior and interior design and technical overhaul. The 2008 model also marks the addition of a two-door coupe variant. It features a completely revised exterior, with more agressive styling. It also boasts a redesigned cabin with silver metallic finishing on the dashboard and center console, available ambient interior lighting, and available leather seating with contrast stitching.
Also offered with FordSync, the new Focus promises to serve as a "second home on wheels." Suspension and chassis refinements improve ride and handling. Improved sealing and sound deadening are used to enhance audio performance and reduce road noise.

The 2008 Focus offers a 2.0-liter, Duratec 20 dual-overhead-cam, inline four-cylinder engine delivering an estimated 136 hp. The new engine also offers improved air intake system, cooling and exhaust system are designed to improve the smoothness, efficiency, and response of the powertrain. The new engine also brings a variant which qualifies in states adopting California emission standards that qualifies Focus as a Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle when using the Duratec 20E engine.
