2008 Impreza WRX Sedan

The Subaru Impreza WRX Sedan has undergone many changes to it's front grille for the past few years. But none as dramatic as the one undergone by the 2006-2007 models. The 3-section grille resembles the intake and wings of a jet aircraft, paying homage to their grandfather company, the Nakajima Aircraft Company.

After receiving much criticism and controversy, the designers at Subaru decided to put the Impreza under the knife again. This time, they have sculpted a one-piece grille that looks like an eagle spreading its wings.

The engine used is still the EJ255 but with emission and fuel economy improvements. The turbocharged 2.5-L produces 224hp at 5200rpm and 226 lb-ft torque at a very low 2800 rpm. The naturally-aspirated version will pump out 170hp and 170lb-ft torque.
